Pat Melese
Patrick Melese is a veterinarian with over 14 years of experience in general practice and currently one of only 4 board certified specialist in Veterinary Behavior (American College of Veterinary Behaviorists) in Southern California and the only one working out of San Diego County. Dr. Melese was previously Principal Clinician and founder of the Behavior Service for the University of California Veterinary Medical Center in San Diego and also a lecturer in Animal Behavior at the School of Veterinary Medicine at U.C. Davis. He is now back in private specialty practice as director of Veterinary Behavior Consultants, a specialty practice limited to helping owners with behavior problems in their pets in San Diego and parts of Southern California. Noelle Melese is a trained Clinical Social Worker, an avid researcher and has owned a number of cats over many years. She has read extensively on cat behavior and has a special interest in choosing, breeding and raising cats with excellent dispositions (especially for families with gentle children) and health.
